Instagram and TikTok account analytics
This will show real follower, reach and per-post figures for an account you own, read through the platform's own login rather than scraped from a page. It is not switched on yet.
What it is waiting on
Neither platform lets an app read account insights until the app itself has been reviewed and approved by them, which is a process with their own timelines rather than something that can be finished from this side. Until that clears, a Connect button would open a login that ends in an error, so there is none.
When it does ship, the access token is encrypted and kept in a cookie on your own device rather than in any database here, and disconnecting deletes it outright.

YouTube publishes channel statistics openly, so the Channel Analyser works today from nothing but a link, with no connection or login of any kind.
About the connected accounts
Instagram and TikTok do not publish account statistics to anyone holding a link. The only legitimate way to read them is for the account owner to authorise access through the platform's own login, which is what this does.
Once connected you get figures no scraper can reach: reach, profile views and saves on Instagram, and view counts per video on TikTok. Your access token is encrypted and kept in a cookie on your own device, never in a database, and disconnecting deletes it outright.
How to use it

Questions
Why can't I just paste my profile link?
Because Instagram and TikTok do not publish account statistics publicly. Tools that claim to work from a link are scraping, which breaks constantly and violates the platforms' terms. Official login is the only reliable and permitted route.
Where is my access token stored?
Encrypted with AES-256-GCM in an httpOnly cookie on your own device. It is never written to a database and never exposed to page JavaScript. Disconnect deletes it.
What kind of Instagram account do I need?
A Business or Creator account. Personal accounts cannot access the insights API, which is a platform restriction rather than a limitation here.
Can you post on my behalf?
No. The permissions requested are read-only: profile details, insights and your own media list. Nothing can be published or changed.
